“A Family’s Journey With Autism Spectrum Disorder”

Come along on a journey from diagnosis to therapy, to choices for schools, working with a church for inclusion in all activities including Sunday School, through highs and lows, fear and acceptance to being able to reach out to others and offer help and hope. Alison will share personal stories for a real glimpse of autism on a daily basis. Participants will learn about the spectrum first hand as Alison and her husband have a son with classic autism and a son with Asperger’s Syndrome. Questions are welcome throughout the presentation. CPDU (Continuing Education Units) from Concordia University, Chicago, are available for participation in this workshop.
